Whispers of the Lilies
She gave me that girly look
She’s challenging so openly
Beckoned me with a smile..
Toyed with her pretty curls
Tanira.. her name tantalizing
Her perfume so enthralling
With a scent of wild flowers
Sending me into imaginings
Of meadows long forgotten
Summers so full of longings
Life full of joy and fun times
Weaver-birds and butterflies
The sun gentle on our skins
Tania.. a love in strange lands
A calm wind sending ripples
On these love struck beings
