Whispers in the Night
In twilight’s hush, where shadows gently blend,
Glenn’s voice ignites the night, a guiding spark.
From Deep Purple's "Burn," his echoes send
A blaze of soul that leaves a lasting mark.
He sings of dreams pursued and battles fought,
In Sabbath’s thunder and Purple’s flame.
His lyrics carve a path, with lessons taught,
Where joy and sorrow intertwine the same.
"Can’t Stop the Flood," he sings with deep emotion,
Each note a whisper, heartfelt and sincere.
His songs are like a dance, a timeless ocean,
Where past and present meet, and fears disappear.
Through every verse, a piece of him is given,
In "Soul Mover," he shares his heart’s deep call.
Each melody a wave that feels like living,
Lifting spirits high, embracing all.
In every cover and the bands he's known,
A tapestry of sound, a gift he’s left.
The rhythm of his soul in every tone,
A whisper in the night, forever cleft.
"Love Communion," tender and sincere,
A heartfelt plea wrapped in a song's embrace.
In every chord, his passion’s crystal clear,
A whisper in the night, a warm embrace.
So when the night falls and the stars ignite,
Listen for his voice, a guiding light.
In every note where memories take flight,
Glenn Hughes’ echoes fill the quiet night.
