Whispers From Here . . .
Everyday peels back another layer in forever
I pray for you every time I lay down my tobacco
I ask that you are safe
I ask that you will always be watched over
And lastly I pray
That you will come back to me
With every whisper to Creator I pray
I ask
Every night rolls back another shade of eternity
And with every pinch of tobacco I lay down
My heart cries out
My soul screams across the feet of Creator
My body quakes and quivers from here
And lastly I whisper
Please bring her back to me
With every flake of my soul I cry to Creator
I weep
Bring back the day to me
Bring back the stars to me
Bring back the whispering wind across the sky
Bring back the air I once breathed
Bring back my soul
Every breaking day . . .
I pray
One cupped whisper
For you
Just you
Only you
Always . . . forever
