Whispering Calm

Time stands still
in a tranquil spring afternoon
how invigorating
to be in the thick of it;
far removed
from the roaring hustle and bustle.
I'm imbibing moments so peaceful.
The ambience...
couldn't be more serene.
A roaring wind now calm,
as if asleep. The birds are quiet;
all flying mute...
under the canopy of the heavens.
The faint whispers of rustling foliage,
so relaxing.
What a wondrous day!
