Whispering Adieu

For the time has come for Summer to fade, 
          warmth whispers adieu as crimson ascends-
Blades begin to fall in a serenade,
          and all the beauty of Autumn transcends.

          Corn maize at Queens County Farm Museum,
sipping warm apple cider by the fire-
          Embers ignite aglow finding freedom, 
and all us family begins to tire. 

Caramel apples with pumpkin picking-
          Stacks of hay surround a house that’s haunted, 
for Halloween is time for fun tricking.
          The neighbors decorated and flaunted!

          The loveliness of Autumn has spoken…
          whispers adieu when Winter’s awoken.

This is beautiful Luloo. We have a corn maze down here but it just doesn't feel the same when it is 90 degrees outside. : ) No sitting around the fire here.

yeah we here in Michigan get Autumn bonfires, it's awesome having 4 seasons. Thank you once again Chris for your kind comments. :)-luloo
