Whisper Sweet Nothings
Whisper sweet nothings into my ear
Let the words drip from your soft lips
Like a waterfall
Falling into a pool of phrases
That have made me enthralled within your presence
I have became so wrapped within your words
That i feel like I am held captive
But yet I feel so safe
As you hold me,
And as I let your sweet talk
Get wrapped in my brain
And clasp my heart within your secure arms
Just like how you play your favorite song
And sing as loud as you can
Over and over again
Your sweet nothings will get played on repeat in my head
For hours even after you leave,
I will picture the moments we could be together if you could have stayed
Even if it meant just a couple more seconds
But as i think about it
I will never be satisfied
Unless I give you a kiss goodnight
And fall asleep within your grasp
When i can feel your breathing on my neck
So light
So subtle
And then in the moment I will be reminded about how in love I am with you
But for now I will make the time we have together count
To the very last second
