Whisper Hello To the Night

Whisper hello to the night

Springtime echoes call your name
through the valleys tangerine
Before a pastel painted sunset
 twilight moments so serene

Feel the winds of tender flow
quivering upon your heart
In my arms I hold you tightly
as the daylight does depart

Sit with me this velvet meadow
while the moon enchants the view
Kiss me soft of endless wonder
feel this love I have for you

Count the stars above now shining
dream with me beneath their light
As the two of us together
whisper hello to the night
