While Waiting For Him
While Waiting for Him
Wanst there was a prithe lady
And to all of her woes pray thee
Loved one king's kind son was kilt
Body was thrown in the water a jilt.
Out uv all of her mind she went
And tender heart was totally spent
Until something happened without delay
Many good fairies had taken her away.
Then an unheard of thing appeared
Out in the lake and seemed so weird
White trout appeared never there before
No one had seen from long lake's shore.
'Twas a pretty fairy some people thought
To harm precious fish they had not ought
But a wicked soldier scoffed at them
And caught trout and took it home with him.
Did put delicate fish into a frying pan
Never would cook so he flipped it again
Should have left fish and see it swim away
He decided to eat poor fish anyway.
Soldier stuck white trout with a fork
And a murdering screech it did uncork
A lovely, beautiful lady was now near
Blood on her arm started to adhere.
What must be done so smart was he
Please take m to the lake said she
If I should miss my lover swimming by
A pumpkin you will be beneath the sky.
After by him she had been dropped in
To lake which was narrow and thin
At first all over blood was shown
Stopped bleeding and a red spot had grown.
An altered and amazed man was he
Worshipper and believer of the Deity
Fasting every day of the week would he
And him eating fish you will never see.
Now he sings it is itty magory dee
Also along with Riga Kilarney with dew
And yes swimming still now is she
Looking for loved one that to her is true.
