Which Element Are You

What an unusual question! Were we born with it, then, at our birth? Are you like air, fire, water or earth? Is it a guide to our vocation? We do search for success in our days. To enjoy work that brings us pleasure. Ah, these are things, we dearly treasure. And seek them, we do, in many ways! Knowing your element is the key. To get along with your fellow man. Ensuring you, a joyous lifespan. Compatriots with whom you agree. Four elements, listed just below. It’s nothing incensed, nor mystical. The origins, are most scriptural. Simple tools for life, on with the show! Air…mostly leaders and visionaries. And given to bouts of aggression and arrogance. Sometimes, bouts of cruelty. This element, does not set well with me. Fire…Loads of fun, adventurous, but not given to substance. They love to poke lots of fun! And a group this poet shuns! Sometimes their jokes end up, in broken romance Water…Warm and placid, does not seem to dominate. Natural peacemakers who are soothing and comforting. They go with the flow and will not stand up to the crowd. Instead, sweetly ruminating! Eartth-Excels at tasks that do require concentration. Scholars, bookworms and researchers largely in this group. Whatever they achieve comes with a painstaking loop. These are noted writers, thinkers of all nations, * You will get along best, with those who share your major element. * God created superb water, air, fire and earth. The elements we are grateful for, since birth, 10/21/2022

This poem gave me lots to think of. Personally I think I’m a mix of elements. How crazy is that??

Now, now. This is Biblical…HaShem needed no biology or chemistry notes. He did not have a Ph.D from an Ivy League University. All 4 elements are in the Torah.-)))…well before man was created.LOL. HaShem created a universe and human beings before the first school was ever in existence, However, I did study Aristotelian Logic at Loyola U. Right near Lake Shore Drive. Those 4 are all you need know about.))) huggs, Pangie

Beautiful poem, PR. Enjoyed your musings. Beyond the four obvious elements, I’d say, dig deeper into ether

In fact, based on the Tantra energy system, we ascend from earth (root) to water (sacral) to fire (navel) to air (heart) and then ether (throat) and then into the head ovoid through the seven chakras, each having a different vibration and colour

Is it terrible that this made me think of the old Captain Planet show? Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart! My kids watched it 25 years ago, lol. We do need to be good stewards of all that we are given. At this point, I'm probably mud... :-) Have a blessed day, Pangie!

My daughter did not watch that, but she is older than your brood, I am sure! We were given much. Thank you for the terrific reminder on being a good steward, Jeff! Looks like TS, you and I, are all in the mud category.))) Huggs, Pangie
