Where's Your Little Bit of Heaven On Earth

There is one place I love to be, My hammock beneath two apple trees. A canopy of greens above my head, Where thoughts weave round my mind like thread. Till soft breezes play a leafy tune And thoughts go quiet in my cocoon. Peace descends and all is still, Soft sounds from birds sent to chill. Serenity is all around In my bit of Heaven on the ground. July 2017

Wonder poem! I was actually able to visualize myself in the hammock beneath those apple trees. :-)

Several things are my bit of heaven. Travelling and enjoying museums; listening to classical music alone; eating and drinking truly good food and wines. An enjoyable read. / M

This must be a great spot because i felt like i was the one in the hammock. Or you are a great writer. Or both of those are true. I'd say both are true. Very calming write. Thank you.

Lovely Elizabeth. My place is on my garden swing in my back yard where I am surrounded with my flowers and the buzz of bees and songs of birds. Great job here. God Bless, JB

Oh that sounds so good, a hammock between trees, a bit of sun, a good book, and dozing off :)
