Where We Met

Heaven kisses earth 
In Holy refining Fire
Here you bore me 
At the foot of the Cross
Your blood flowed
Washed me
Here you gave me birth 
In such travail

I know not how 
You could have borne this anguish
This excruciating pain
My pure true - Turtle Dove
You willingly laid down your perfect life
Allowed them to take away
Your heart
The place of Your Sacred Flame
It was this that released me from 
Hells domain

So holy is your love 
So fervent is your desire 
For my heart
Can I keep anything back from you? 
Your eyes are like dove’s eyes
Imploring
So soulful 
So earnest 
So fervently concerned 
Lest I be lost in Hell’s desire forever

No! 
There is nothing I can keep back-
From You-My darling
My one and only true love
I am won by your pure Love
Forever
At the secret place where we met
The place where heart and heaven meet
The place of your earnest Love 
For my soul 
The Cross 
Your total commitment 
Has won - me
I am yours- forever.

Hi Bren, Your poem is lovely. When we need him he is always there. Such love, none can compare. Safe journey home! I love Perth, but have never been to Adelaide. I live in Noosa, Qld. Have always loved the ocean and never lived far away from it. Spent most of my life in Sydney. I didn't realize you are here in Australia. Somehow I thought you must be from the US. Hi Maureen, My mum lives in Qld, Bundaberg. Yes arrived safely home so good to be with the family but I have been pretty well caught up with looking after my 2 year old (almost) since I have been home, will try and catch up reading everyone soon, blessings, Bren : )
