Where We Hide and Play

"Where We Hide And Play"
For some being within the arms of moonlight is true
all would agree no other site will do
such illumination enhances all the wonder
You and I say otherwise
For others a suite draped with roses and satin is divine
all would agree a place to lavish within each others' wine
replenishing thirst with each savoring taste
Yes you and I say otherwise
For most a night by a lit fireplace ignites passion
all would agree to be a number one attraction
having the warmth blanket the flesh of a naked body
Still you and I say otherwise
For us the place of places remains the cooler
our private exclusive spot that began this journey
all would agree unusual with a taste of humor
Again you and I say otherwise
Under the moon we walked
We have seen the roses bloom
The lit fireplaces forever glow
I say let love flourish where it may
You say all with have their special day
We both say the cooler is where we hide and play

I like how you did this and the cooler is just as good a place as any. I am partial to the pantry. :) Really nice Lisa, your poetic talent combined with your offbeat humor (I mean that in a nice way) is perfectly showcased in this wonderful poem.

Thank you very much Chris. I am always grateful for the generosity and for the feedback. It means much. Now about that offbeat humor (ha ha) just kidding. Thank you for that also.
