where shadows go

Where even shadows go to die I stare into the darkest light I watch the world pass as I lie Feeling my soul burn out insane Knowing the world turns into Tyranny I see it there on the right The burning of everything We’re all shadows that fly I lie in the grace of the inferno night The infinite black hole of the soul Watching all exploding in second sight I have dreamt of lands where shadows lie I sit staring blind in the infernal light Where shadows go to die And in that stillness, flames arise, Consuming time, a consuming cry. No echo left of what was bright, Just ash that dances out of sight. In this realm of endless fall, I lose myself to the burning call. For in the blaze, there’s no goodbye— Only wraiths know where shadows go to die.
