Where My Dreams Have Led

Where My Dreams Have Led By Roy Merritt My baby ain’t got no teeth She ain’t got no toes She ain’t got no mouth nor ears Nor has she got a nose She ain’t got no eyes She ain’t got no arms or legs She cain’t have no baby Cos’ she don’t make no eggs She’s just an image I made up in my head She’s just a fantasy Where my dreams have led She ain’t got no breasts Or lips red or pink Got no hair on her head She cain’t give me a wink She ain’t got no tongue No dimple on cheek or chin She cain’t hassle me Ask me where I been She’s just an image I made up in my head She’s just a fantasy Where my dreams have led She ain’t got no arch She ain’t got no brow She ain’t got no yappin’ dog No poodle or a chow She ain’t got no cat No bird in a cage I can act the fool around her I never act my age She’s just an image I made up in my head She’s just a fantasy Where my dreams have led She ain’t got no job She don’t bake no bread She don’t do any of the things Not one thing I’ve said She ain’t got no car She don’t wear no dress She don’t judge me at all When I look a mess She’s just an image I made up in my head She’s just a fantasy Where my dreams have led She ain’t got no friends She ain’t got no mom and dad She’s willing to listen for hours To every thing I’ve said She will hear me out She’ll don’t mind if I’m late She’s ready go out anytime Willin’ to be my date She’s just an image I made up in my head She’s just a fantasy Where my dreams have led She got no reason To ever to nag or whine She don’t expect me to buy her flowers When we’re out to dine She the best of all I never bought her pearls She beats most of them All the other girls She’s just an image I made up in my head She’s just a fantasy Where my dreams have led
