Where Is My Shoe

I went to the store with
My cousin and sister in the car
Wanted to do a little shopping
But didn't get very far

As we reached the store we got out
The car but I only had one shoe
She had a hole in the floor of the car
My shoe must have just fell right through

I had to limp to the store
And buy a pair of slippers
This was just to funny
To my cousin and sister

I was so confused I didn't know what to do
All I know is that I got in That car with two shoes
I tell you no lie this story is true
Where oh where is my other shoe

Great write on an all too common occurrence. It happened to me when I was younger, riding to vacation, I was tired and wanted to sleep. I started to lay down but my shoe was in the way, so not thinking I just tossed it. It hit my uncle in the back of the head and flew out the open window. It's probably lying on some stretch of the interstate still! Congrats. Dan C

oh my goodness!! poor shoe, missing its partner! I sure laughed out loud with this one, Faleshia! Now I am enlightened as to the fates of those lone slippers, and yes even a rubber shoe one time-- I see on the roads here--they actually fell off from cars that had holes...congrats on your win with this funny piece :) --nikko :)
