Where I Find My Peace, Humility
"Breezing trees heard the whispers of leaves."
Quoted line _Vijay Pandit, The Last Goodbye
______________________
The smoke gently curls from my humble forest cottage
and above breezing elms stand peacefully on guard
this is a place where I find my peace, my humility
All around me wild flowers languish in whispers
and fat bees buzz and blue butterflies drift
all in the fall forest is resting and waiting
I lay beneath a maple where red drips
like a fountain leaves fall on me
oh, how sweet it is to recline
beside a gushing stream
in the forest shade_
