We all once read the same great books in school Shakespeare, Dickens, Samuel Clemens, Hemingway Each one a classic, thought to be a jewel -- With plots and themes still relevant today A widespread range of characters portrayed -- But now these treasures, written by white men Are labelled racist and misogynist... Amen. ~ Iambic Pentameter

Hello Gershon … political correctness and social media are killing off traditions. Screaming racism will not all people together, but in time, battlelines may be drawn and I would hate to see that - thanks Gershon - Lindsay

The more the media promotes racists and race-baiting, the closer we draw to an all-out race war... I really do blame the media for this. They fan the flames with their childish over-obsession with race, not to mention gender. A pox on them. ~ gw

i don't know man...the disappearance of traditional book store and library culture is disturbing...millennial children probably don't even notice... their world is 'whatever social media is catering to now'...and that means what norm is being marketed on the net to be chosen instead of the school classics that we (always) learn(ed) by
