Notes About The Poem

Where Do I Go Duet

(Female) O' Lord where do I go Just what will I see And when will I know What truth means to me Male) To who can I Turn Who Can I ask When will I Learn If I'm up to the task (Both) This life journeys on That's so easy to see Like words to a song But who's singing to me (Male) Lord hear my plea And answer my prayer (Both) What's that we see Is it him standing there (Male) Closer he walks with me and my fears (Female) Softly he talks And dry's all my tears (Both) Whenever we're lost And in need of a friend Our heavenly host Will answer again Whenever you're lost And in need of a friend Your heavenly host Says let's start again, Let's start again...

Very good Charlie. So much of our lives is about 'starting again". I heard a 62 year old man in Puerto Rico say, "The hurricanes have come and gone, and I'm still here.". He was ready to "start again". Thank you my friend.

Well depicted Charlie. Thanks as well for visiting and commenting on my poem. In fact it was no void of faith. I believe the imminent departure from this world creates a sense of urgency to live this life with purpose. Although I know my Savior awaits me I still wish to make the best of my time here.

That song is to good to miss "Charlie" - I would whip round with the lyrics to your local Methodist church - You might just be amazed by what the church singers and musicians can come up with I for one would love to hear it being sung to music . . .
