Where Did I Put My Zen

ZEN is a type of Buddhism that seeks enlightenment through simple meditation and relaxation, it is a sweet journey to self-contemplation. I seek my inner quiet place my ZEN, is where I am free of fear and worry. It is my place of calmness, acceptance and balance- in only five or ten minutes stress floats away. Sit or lay on the floor or ground, empty your mind of all thoughts, shut down your to-do-list, stop replaying unpleasant memories. (Oh, thinking of nothing is difficult!) Just focus on your breathing, inhale, exhale, slowly create a mantra, a word or phrase (beautiful) and each time your mind wanders, call it back . . . Give yourself time for stillness, seek your morals buried deep within- Strength, courage, tranquility, serenity, forgiveness, acceptance, surrender . . . now come with me and just let go. ____________________ April 11, 2017 Didactic/Where Did I Put My Zen Copyright Protected, ID 891636 Be Didactic John Anderson Tenth Place

What great advice. I have the strongest respect for Buddhism, and it has helped me along the way in my life. We went to see the Dalai Lama on one of his visits. and the wave of emotion that went through the crowd was just unbelievable.
