When You Just Don'T Have It
When you just don't have it
Do you throw up your hands
Do you quit on yourself
Or do you fight to regain it
And give it your all
Not grasping at straws
or clutching the air
Do you take a break, Why not?
and come back to it later
Hum a tune, sing a song
Tap your feet, let the shower run long
Perhaps take a walk down by the river
communing with nature...
Do you talk to a confidante, complain
Rant and rave, spill your guts
Or do you just admit ~
Even a finely-tuned machine can get stuck in a rut
