When Wendy Grew Up

Woman, woman, let go of me
I remember again
how to cry and laugh
in the same breath

How far I have come, I wonder
to comfort a sobbing boy
by leaving the room
to think

I believe
I remember you
I once 

flew

Wow, nice poem Julia, I wrote a poem about Peter Pan called A Romantic Adventure. Check it out if you get a chance. This poem was almost a Diminished Hexaverse. "5 lines, then 4 lines, then 3 lines, then 2 lines, ending with one word. Hope you have a Happy and Safe New Year...Raul
