When the Night was Young
When I had two good feet
we'd often meet
take long walks
'til I couldn't talk
though silence can be sweet...
When you could hear
I'd whisper in your ear
fill your heart with glee
two lovers' recipes
though you can no longer see...
When the night was young
and the moon was low
we'd kiss, nice and slooowww
and then, you know, we'd go ~
Ah, but the key's long gone, our song is sung
