When That Ocean Was Cut Into Five
as the waters split into pieces
and the land formed itself
the day went longer than
than the sky, and deeper
than the sea
its form was
shaped it broke
F R E E
escaped
as it fell lower
than the sea floor
but higher
than even the sky
the ocean was split
into five.
