When She Invited Her Pets To Tea

(Picture no.4) She knelt down at the table With a teapot full of milk. She sat her teddy on the smallest chair. He wore a neck ribbon of silk. She summoned her polite pets. She served her kittens first. Her dog gazed at her, all dreamy eyed, Longing to quench his thirst. She chatted away quite happily, Playing the lady of the house. She imagined the kittens were her Children. And the kanine was her spouse. She said she'd heartily recommend All to invite their pets to tea. This reads like a nursery rhyme. It’s darling, so pretty. It would be delightful in a frame with a picture below, one you painted with your words. I’m throwing it little kisses from my cottage to yours.

Awe thanks Meghan. It's amazing how children can always use their imagination for role play. Although I'm one of two children, I always used my Barbie dolls for role play and stole my brother's Action Man if it was a family (lol) but pets are also amazing play mates :-D thank you for your encouraging words. All the best.
