When Rhyming Reigns
Sun smiles - withering flowers bloom;
Sky sprinkles - bowers gleefully bathe;
Breeze breathes - lovers merrily hum,
And rhyming heals all our aching woes.
Moon snorts wearing a woolen cloud;
Darkness now floods – drowning all,
And eerie spirits stride, hunting for mirth,
Yet rhyming’s reign can rescue us all.
When peace twinkles in poetic lines,
And sprinklers overflow the poetic tanks,
I see readers swim in butterfly stroke,
And then I know that a poet’s duty is done.
