When Life Seems Down
WHEN LIFE SEEMS DOWN
when life seems down
and our troubles abound,
and seem to endlessly flow,
and make no sense,
who do you turn to
or where do you find inner tranquillity,
for there is always one there
within a prayer space,
there is the one who takes onboard
and who hears our pleas,
in addition to giving inner grace of mind
and peace of kind,
so be still;
be ever so still
for the flow that overcomes
your troubled soul,
and be content
in releasing the burdens of mind,
when life seems down
and our troubles come against,
so lift up your accounts in prayer
of wearisome soul;
to the one who helps you overcome
your tiresome task.
