When I Love I Love For a Lifetime
You were the first my chest to caress,
You the first to whom I gave myself
to frolick within my arms, and dance
within my heart, my beloved girl,
my heart's beloved ballerina.
Where are you? Oh my girl,where are you?
Alas,Do you even remember me?
how from love to total apathy
have we gone astray from love's good path?
Yet do you even remember me,
after we've consummated love's embrace?
When I love, I love for a lifetime.
