When I Die

When the ram dies Bury him with the twin In the grave cloth of his conscience Were I to die now I would lie down with me Even with my conscience Than ply the empty street without me; I don’t need those graves The dual graves that is dug! Tho’ some have fought for two graves Who died long ago, – Yes, longer than long ago! – Tho’ they still live among us And like hollow men, weeping They weep for a re-union With themselves in earth’s clay Longing to die the death – When I die Let me be buried with my conscience.

Very subtle meaning in this one. Some people can't live for fear of dying. Keep writing. Sara
