When feeling empty

When feeling empty I often write -- strange, how, somehow emptying more seems start a fill -- from the outside re-connecting the within -- where I draw from reserve – ours I like to believe a dimension of shared admissions becoming childlike opening to acceptance the need for mirrors: as well as for makeup, more-so, for busting pimples and cleaning teeth~ our blemishes, bits and pieces of one another we see our digestions in the images of others what we eat, breathe, dream, and pray -- both inner and outer garments reflections...

Hi Victor; thank you. Just trying to be honest with self -- I have no answers. Somethings just seem to work...till I am shown better, or am forced to move blindly on. Who knows?

Both inner and outer garments, sometimes we need to take a minute to slow down breathe, to connect with inner self, consciousness as theres so much of what we seek for outside also within, i really love the way youv described those little things we do everyday, and how youv stated that it is strange in times of emptiness we somehow start to fill or in other words, we find ourselves. As they say; tears and emotions too have tales. Pleasure reading your work. Sending you light

Wonderful, deep meaning constructive comment. Enjoyed very much! No true darkness in God's creation...only a lot of selves keeping out the Light.

It is when we feel empty that we make a conscious effort to connect with a power inside us. Then we are able to see things in a better light. It can lead to creativity too that gives us spouts of joy. Then the rigidity in us leaves and we become childlike, arousing in us a need to beautify our 'outer and inner garments'. A powerful metaphoric writing, dear Joe which I greatly enjoyed.

Feeling empty is a struggle caused by many things. A good night's rest seems to rejuvenate but by end of day, I'm empty again. I like this poem. It is direct and heartwarming.

A wonderful poem, Joe, and one that I can relate to...how often I write and feel reconnected, filled with the joy of creativity as I explore those 'inner and outer garments' to which you refer. Outstanding!! have a pleasant evening, Sara

Thank you, Sara; yes, it is all about connections...without them, we are fragments of being~ just another star, among the countless~ lots of glitter, but little else. Patterns are how we know ourselves...others...and a recognizable God.

That is the power of your muse, my friend. --When feeling empty I often write -- strange, how, somehow emptying more seems start a fill --That is the joy of creating something from nothing.

Easier to write on a clean slate...than a dirty blackboard. While tutoring children can make them successful...it will not necessarily make them individual. Always try to see and focus on innate talents~ a good teacher as well learns from his students.

Hey Joe.. Your poem offers a poignant reflection on the transformative power of writing and self-exploration. It reminds us of the importance of embracing our vulnerabilities and imperfections, and finding solace in the shared experiences of others...
