When Birds Sing
when birds sing, life is blessed
life is enriched by the harmony of songs
one would miss the opportunity to be enchanted
should they do not listen when birds sing.
birds share their feelings of contentment
and seek attention of partnership
enticement follows in a ravishing way
courtship stirs upon the branches of the oaks.
they call to beckon and sing to enchant
expressing their charm in hopes to allure
a companion which fulfills their desire
to be gratified by the songs they sing.
