When a Mirror Speaks
cheeks
frame the miles
which they see.
lids
shield,
drape,
and keep.
lashes
brush,
dust,
and sweep.
tears
wash,
cry,
and clean.
but when a Mirror speaks,
the eyes say
“woe are we”
