What You Gonna Do

By Author Dana Redricks January 17, 2025 (Verse 1) What you gonna do when the shadows fall, the final call comes for us all. One day the clock will stop its spin, will you be ready when your life begins again? (Pre-Chorus) This life ain't ours to keep forever, every soul will face the tether. You got today to choose His way, don’t wait too long—don’t delay. (Chorus) What you gonna do when the light breaks through? When the skies unfold and it’s calling you? Will you bow down, or will you run and hide? Will your heart be clean, or chained by pride? Ask for His mercy, let His grace pull you through, what you gonna do? What you gonna do? (Verse 2) The love of Christ has paid the cost, but you gotta claim it or you’ll be lost. No more excuses, no time to play, tomorrow’s not promised—choose Him today. (Bridge) Confess your sins, let it all go, hearts made pure, washed white as snow. His arms are open, can’t you see? He’s waiting now for you and me. (Chorus) What you gonna do when the light breaks through? When the skies unfold and it’s calling you? Will you bow down, or will you run and hide? Will your heart be clean, or chained by pride? Ask for His mercy, let His grace pull you through, what you gonna do? What you gonna do? (Outro) What you gonna do when it’s all said and done, when your race is over, did you trust the Son? One day we’ll stand at Heaven’s gate, don’t wait too long; don’t be too late. Oh, what you gonna do? What you gonna do?
