What Will My New Normal Be?

Average or typical is what i think normal,
but it’s a futile search for my return to the same.
Greeting a friend has become so informal,
a pandemic has changed the rules of the game.
No handshakes or hugs and i distance space,
I wash my hands and then do it once more.
I wear a mask but can’t stop touching my face,
This pandemic has made my normal a chore.
Sudden Cardiac Arrest saw my life become flat,
and i leave the house for Doctor visits and food.
Now a COVID-19 pandemic is tweaking that,
and I fear I’m becoming a disgruntled old dude.
