What We'Ve Become Is Not Who We Are

What we've become is not who we are When a man reject his culture He cut off his root We have went from being who We are to who we think we are supposed To be And this is killing the essence of our Existence We choose wealth over dignity We choose money over royalty We can't even stand tall with the truth no more Cos vanity has it cover over our soul And now we cry When no one care We die when no one knows Is hard to keep going cos What we've become is not who we are What we've become is not who we are If we are created to die What is the need to be born Or did we burry our shames And decide to be sheep's We always run to death too quickly When life is calling with an empty answer Humans are like to prodigal son Despite our past we remain the pigs That never want to be cleaned No wonder is difficult to find truth Surviving in this era cos We never learn to change Worst of all What we've become is not who we are

Great similes in this one Richard. I like the repetition of your lines. :)
