What To Write
Thoughts all jumbled up, ideas flitting past.
Staring at the screen inspiration yet to strike.
Taping words on to note pad, then deleting most.
Sighing as you start again a new thought in mind.
This seems to work so you run with it
entering more and more words as a picture forms.
Words become sentences that flow into paragraphs.
At last it holds its audience's attention.
You sit back and read it through with an odd adjustment.
Finally satisfied that it is a finished and polished piece.
Ready to be published on the web, your finger hovers
then you hit that button and hope readers like it.
