What To Put the Thermostat On
It's 55 degrees outside
no heat on in the house
My feet in blanket I do hide
the gauge I need to browse
At times we turn the heater on
then quickly turn it off
My husband likes it to be warm
I just sit and cough
Though cigarettes doth hinder
this I don't dismiss
To cease the falling cinder
can leave heat where it is
Back to the dilemma
of my feet again
Blame this on global warming
Tobaccos favorite sin
Which goes back to my question
in the title of this piece
What to put the thermostat on
This madness has to cease
