This poem is about the preconceptions people have about others before they really get to know them. It also hopes to share the things everyone loves to hear from a partner.

She thought she was only able to see, The world she thought she saw, The world she thought she lived within, But that was all before, She opened the eyes of her heart to love, She opened her heart to a man, And he told her those things she needed to hear, So a new journey for her began, He said “You’re right, we are together, If you want to talk, I am here, And I think you are the most beautiful woman, And I will never disappear.” These words and more freed her from Preconceptions of love and passionate lust, They cleaned her life of her assumptions of men, They freed her of the rust.

Oh, yes, when love is true it can and will set one free from the perceptions past relationships and life exposures have grown in one; when love is true it hands you truth including the best you. When false, it grows false perceptions and false thoughts about oneself. Didn't mean to go on, its just that you hit the mark, the ideal mark we all seek. Or rather, 'you hit the mate' All the best ... CayCay

Thanks Susan, we all carry perceptions and i think it's important to experience as much as we can to make these perceptions as close to truth as we can, i'm glad u liked this write.
