Thank you. Could it be me looking in the mirror, or could it be the reader? It's a strange old world Levasseur, and the meeting of those minds in this Life, in the 'matrix', even stranger. Keep writing you; there are smooth imitations out there, who proclaim to be 'writers'/'poets' - the best writers ... speak their truth.

R, you speak such a beautiful exotic language, many should invest their time in translating your poetry, it ascends cerebral. I am a big novice. This poem was just a bit of Tom-foolery. Thank you. x

We sometimes we are shocked by what we find on the other side of the mirror. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best I guess. Well done, Leanne...Charlie :)

“The boys were amazed that I could make such a poem as that out of my own head, and so was I, of course, it being as much a surprise to me as it could be to anybody, for I did not know that it was in me. If any had asked me a single day before if it was in me, I should have told them frankly no, it was not. That is the way with us; we may go on half of our life not knowing such a thing is in us, when in reality it was there all the time, and all we needed was something to turn up that would call for it.” Mark Twain, Joan of Arc

“I keep on going with this sad and hungry and sordid, this limping and mutilated story, because after all I want you to hear it….By telling you anything at all I’m at least believing in you….Because I’m telling you this story I will your existence. I tell, therefore you are.” Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale

“For this will cure him that is sick, and rouse him that is in dumps; one that has loved, it will remember of it; one that has not, it will instruct. For there was never any yet that wholly could escape love, and never shall there be any, never so long as beauty shall be, never so long as eyes can see. But help me that God to write the passions of others; and while I write, keep me in my own right wits.” Longus (Longos), Daphnis and Chloe : The Love Romances of Parthenius and other fragments

“The ‘Muse’ is not an artistic mystery, but a mathematical equation. The gift are those ideas you think of as you drift to sleep. The giver is that one you think of when you first awake.” Roman Payne
