What Price Freedom?

Lodged in oyster shell, irritating grain of sand, grows pearl of great price. Being beautiful, and imprisoned in dark shell, it longs to be free.

Our inner beauty wants us to free it so that it can be seen by others. Nicely done allegorical work. Keep the creative pen flowing. Sara

I love pearls and shells in fact i have poems about them:)..What Price Freedom?Freedom cant be given a price it would be to expensive for anyone to buy/yet i guess even a beautiful pearl imprisoned in a drak shell can find freedom..freedom is first being in peace with yourself....in peace with God..then when the pearl is out of the shell,it can rest of the best neck in the world:)..love this poem with a deep message--Charma
