                           In time
                   silent ripples
             wave
        more quiet
    than sound
  less melodic than water
 wash ashore, arrange
  green garments in motion
     rock in trance
         spoken sound
             colours circles
                interlinks spirals
                 reaches
                touches
             fingers on keyboard
                   grows larger
      evolves into lines
      expands meaning
                     sentences
             arranged into images
              for your eager mind

Yes my friend. You chose a very beautiful example of silent ripples to describe the beauty of poetry. Have a nice day.

This is great Darren. Ripples in a pond. I like your choice of words and the feeling that our poetry has the potential to expand and touch others in so many ways. An ambitious and well written piece of poetry my friend. Regards, Dean

Such a cool poem that defines poetry in shapes and phrases which is what most of us hope to accomplish when we write. This was really nice my friend.

Thank you my friend :) That is how I always hope my poetry will reach me, but sometimes it's more like a beautiful struggle.

It's a living vibrant organism all right! Such a wonderful descriptive write, Duir! Did you mean to make a seahorse with your words? Or is it just me? Love it
