What Is Man

What is man? Ladies, what is man, that thou takest listenth unto him? Or the son of man, that thou makest account of him? Seeing there are many things that increase vanity, what is man the better? Man straight is not a man, that he should lie Man of essence is neither the son of man that he should regret Hath he said, then will he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and will he not make it good? Lesser men crawl on four, that is a worm! They brag and boast while inside they are empty void They are worms crawling inside muddy time in vain! Thy wickedness may hurt a person as thou art And thy righteousness may profit a son of man. Harems, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him? Put not your trust in princes in elegant dress Nor in daughters of man, in whom there is no help To be, essence you must pursue To live, refinement of essence you must do Or all you are is rolling in muddy times full of fate
