What Is A Narcissist

One moment they’re perfect, The next they turn their backs When you start lining up All the red flags. When they start it will be like a dream, Thinking its good when Their intentions turn mean. You won’t see the truth about who they really are. You’ll keep up the excuses For why they are the lowest bar. They have no love. They are incapable. They will keep you pretending. Even when they’re allowed to sit at your table. The people who hold you down Taking you to the darkness of their created hell. You can’t convince them to be what you had in your mind. The glasses are what truly make you blind. Excuses and lies are all you are fed. Right before you go to bed. They keep their old ways. Only changing for a moment. That is when you start noticing You are the one that pays. Your heart keeps you in their grasp When we all know you can’t last. You’re a toy they play with. The gaslighting is just one of these pits. You want to fix them, You want to save, But it’s not our job To pull them from hell’s gate. Their behavior and the way they hurt you is a major sign they probably control you. You don’t know if you can walk away. The tears are far too common. Take it from me and the past I endured That nothing you say or do Will ever prove them cured. They are sick and manipulative. They will drag you into their abyss. One thing is for certain you will realize that poison was in their kiss.

Life has gotten much better for me. Learned a lot in 20 years of abuse. Most importantly, learned narcissism has been the common denominator in all of it. Thank you so much.

Yes I had one of those too, nearly destroyed me. The good thing is we eventually saw through them. Very well written.
