What If

What if was your last day
and you had to say goodbye
Would be ready to meet
your maker on your bye and by
As you cross the Jordan to
the shore
The life we live is nothing
more than a vapor compared to our eternity
Will you be headed towards
the promise land where streets are paved with gold
or choose the other place where you will tormented and night
Will you turn a deaf ear to God's soft whisper an offer of eternal
Life is only a whisper here today and gone tomorrow
Time is something we do not
have to waste; when it's gone it's gone
Time is something w noe cannot borrow
What has been given by God is what we have
Seek the Lord while you
can for tomorrow might
be too late
