George Aul Poet Quatrain

What I Saw

I watched you walk 
into my life with grace,
I watched you dress
in black satin and lace...

I watched your beauty
come out,
I watched you dance 
all about...

I watched your tears
roll like a stream,
I watched you reach
high for your dream...

I watched you from
far and near,
I watched you from
my life disappear.
