What I Love- What I Hate

I. What I love

I love my small garden full of fragrant blooms,
Where falling sunbeams paint dew drops into gold,
Where ladybirds wing, bees buzz and shadow zooms.
In the morn, it is a beauty to behold.

Flowers display themselves as in a pageant.
Dandy butterflies come and kiss them gallant.
Walking through my garden in the light of day,
Is a pleasure, making me forget life's fray.

2. What I hate

I detest a house in utter disorder,
With closed windows and doors trapping sultry air,
Where clothes and shoes are dumped in every corner,
Where all things are clumsily strewn here and there.

A house with no trace of aesthetics or art,
Where love is lacking to brighten up the heart,
Where no  friends or guests are let in through the door,
With empty silence that feels wild as a roar.

The house without love. That's what I hate. I am a bit more tolerant of some messiness. Haha your garden description is very nice

Wow, quite a write! I love coffee in the morning, with butterflies and blooms. Hate the evening shadows, if a yard of only barren glooms. Color and sunshine for me as well. Order? I'll have another.

Your eyes must dance with the butterflies and blooms! A home should be inviting, interesting and not overly cluttered. My living room space is quite open…love it like that! Some people’s rooms are busy and can still look great. Your home says who you are and if you’ve grown. Blessings

Valsa, your composition is superb. Order and disorder are diametrically opposed concepts that, depending on one's perspective, can either enhance or depress one's quality of life. It was a pleasure to read this one.
