What I Had Been Missing

Sweat pouring down my face
Images of pain and agony
So vivid in my mind

A memory more vibrant than scars
No one could ever pay a high enough price
Matching the value of this dream

Her eyes see through my mind and heart
Putting my life back together
Never knew I was so close to what I had been missing

Her light beaming through my darkness
She's to scared of the night
And the beam still frightens me

In order to feel each other's touch
She must over come a fear of the dark
And I cannot be afraid of the light
