What Does Poetry Mean To You

The Ones Sitting Pretty

Many poems are like butterflies to me.
Some are beautiful but elusive.
I can’t catch them!  I much prefer
the ones sitting pretty on
the leaves inside my book.
Fluttering delight,
translucent ones
can make me
catch my
breath!
