Agony that never seems to end Can’t find where one nightmare stops And the other begins The face in the mirror one I do not know So hollow inside, seamlessly cold Wracked with tears in a heap I lie Hopelessly broken, lost, beyond tried Barely surviving each second for breath After all what’s the point, I feel nothing is left Too blackened my sky to see the sun All that held this simple soul Has completely come undone You ask what does it mean to suffer I ask what does it mean to be free Life doesn’t offer a buffer To this damn wretched misery
