What Child Is This

“What child is this”
who came to earth,
knowing earth's ruler
would deplore?

“What child is this”
who came to earth,
knowing His torture
in store?

What Father is this
who loved so much,
to sacrifice His Own
flesh and blood?

A Divine Lamb, who
on a mountain stood,
offered all Earth-kingdoms
if only He, the status-quo
would let be? – “What child
is this”, who when Mary, kneeling
at His feet, diverting her eyes, He
spoke: No dear one, look up at Me~
take hold of your Brother's Hands
 – and Rise!?

From no earth-university I have known either, Joe. I am starting to think that, nothing good comes from a university. Only paste awards, and stereotypical accolades. Thank you, my friend. Wishing you and yours, a very blessed Christmas and Happy New Year. In His Name we humbly serve.

Thank you so much, Mystic Rose; I had to listen several times. Wonderfully, well done! Someone once told me, to sing praise to God is to pray twice. Blessings my friend!
