What Am I

Cascading darkness, my hands begin to tremble Sunlight fades, I'm alone once again Solitude - isolation segregating emptiness cripples me Emotionless I stare at the smile of others Confused by what I do not understand I cannot judge, therefore I must seek seclusion in a sea of anxiety anticipating the dread my heart pounds I feel hollow, empty, grey as a rain soaked day The sun which ensues does not inspire nor invoke hope Only restless emotions of memories long ago That fade with each passing day, only to present itself in a nightmarish scape Unaware, I wander through the blackened night Fear is an emotion unfamiliar to me, in its face I stand Mocking it's glance, unable to feel it grip Who am I , for I know not maybe I'm a marbled dream within dream For no seems to notice
